Custom CU3ER Preloader - since you’ve asked!

One of the most requested feature by CU3ER users was to have more complete branding options in CU3ER. As many of you concerns that CU3ER brand removing sometimes might not just be enough, we’ve listened you and created requested feature - Custom CU3ER Preloader.

 

What is Custom CU3ER Preloader?

It's basically CU3ER preloader made from your custom image. This way you can create more personalized loading animation which will nicely blend to the rest of your web page . For example, you can make preloader from your company logo, slogan, illustration or whatever you think is suitable.

How it works?

Just define image (source image) you would like to use as CU3ER Preloader. That image will be duplicated and CU3ER will use one copy for front ‘loader’ image and other one for back ‘background’ image. Loading progress indication is shown through simple reveal effect of front over back image in 1 of 4 available directions: up, down, left and right. Setting color & alpha values for loader and background are also available.

What is the best image format for Custom Preloader?

Transparent PNG.

Should I always use Custom Preloader as loading indicator?

Of course not. This is one of many available options for CU3ER users and you don’t have to use it at all. Instead there is ‘linear’ and ‘circular’ default preloaders available.

My Custom Preloader needs time to show up, please advise?

Optimize your image to as small file size as you can. It’s crucial to keep it small as you don’t want to wait to long before preloading image is loaded.

Can I use Custom Preloader as slide loader?

No. Custom preloader is only available as CU3ER loader. For slide loader you can use default preloader symbols.

I'm FREE account holder, can I use Custom Preloader?

Unfortunately not. Custom Preloader and CU3ER brand removal features are available to PRO account holders only.

What are available settings for Custom Preloader?

Thanks for doing this, this is a very nice feature. I think you should include the custom preloader in the images folder as a default path (just like the slide images). Having it in the amazon cloud doesn't show at all. If I change the path to the local images folder and copy the image, it works great! This way you also save a bit on amazon s3 costs. :)

we've fixed the bug with S3 images path staying in export, please export again and it will be good

Hi Stefan, this bug is still not fixed, the path to the logo was in the amazon cloud, and I changed the path in the .xml as Cesar mentioned and worked fine.

@Tobes Please make sure to clear browser cache in order to load latest cManager files. If that doesn't work for you please open support ticket and we will be glad to take a look at your project for further troubleshooting.

Hi!

First of all, this product is fantastic!.. This new CU3R is compatible with joomla 1.5 or 1.6?..

Did you gonna make it for joomla CMS?
